Patent Filing Requirements
- Power of attorney legalised by the Iranian Consulate.
- Photocopy of the commercial register or any equivalent document, the company number must be indicated on the document.
- Certified copy of the priority document if claimed with Persian translation.
- Three copies of the specifications and claims in English or French language.
- Summary of the specification in Persian language (not exceeding 1 page).
- Translation of the specifications, claims, and abstract in Persian language.
- Four sets of the formal drawings.
Notes
- Late filing of documents: allowed within 1 month from filing date without penalty.
Annuity Requirements
- No documents are required.
Patent Assignment
- Power of attorney on behalf of the assignee legalised by the Iranian Consulate.
- The original letters patent for endorsement purposes.
- Deed of assignment document legalised by the Iranian Consulate.

- Power of attorney duly legalised by the Iranian Consulate.
