Notes
- Late filing of documents: allowed within 1 month from filing date without penalty.
- Extension of time for late filing of documents: can be applied for an additional period of 1 month with penalty.
A translation of the word mark into English language must be provided if the mark is in a language other than English or French. Any marks containing non Roman characters should be accompanied with phonetic transcription/transliteration as well as an identification of the language used.
Registration with Customs Duty
- Power of attorney notarised.
- Certified copy of the trademark registration certificate.
- Detailed description of the infringing goods including photos (if any), characteristics for distinguishing the genuine goods from the infringing goods, and pictures of the genuine goods.
- The list of authorised importers or exporters of the goods.
- The list of importers or exporters that are likely to import or export infringing goods.
- The mode of import or export and other information relating to the import or export of the infringing goods, such as estimated time and venue of the import or export (if any).
- Expert’s conclusion on the infringement (if any).
- Decision on sanctions of other enforcement agencies for the similar cases (if any).

- Power of attorney under the new name or address, simply signed.
