Accordingly, the recent increased fees will apply to pending and new filings of trademarks, patents, industrial designs, renewals and annuities.

The important thing about this development is that the registration of Industrial Designs became possible now, a procedure which was kept pending since 2000 for the issuance of the implementing regulations.
