Patent Filing Requirements
- Power of attorney duly legalised by the Iraqi Consulate. The power of attorney must be stamped and sealed by the applicant's company.
- Eight copies of specifications, claims, and drawings in English and Arabic languages.
- Certified copy of the priority document duly legalised by the Iraqi Consulate in case priority is to be claimed.
- Deed of assignment from the inventor(s) duly legalised by the Iraqi Consulate in case the applicant is not the inventor himself.

Annuity Requirements
- No documents are required.
Patent Assignment
- Power of Attorney legalised by the Iraqi Consulate signed by the assignee.
- Deed of assignment legalised by the Iraqi Consulate.

- Certificate of change legalised.

Patent License
- Power of attorney duly legalised by the Iraqi Consulate. The legalisation stamp must appear on the back page of the power.
- Legalised license agreement executed by both the licensor and the licensee.
