The intellectual works that are protected are creations of the mind, whatever their mode of expression or the medium, tangible or intangible, known or susceptible of invention in the future, in which they are fixed.

Computer programs shall be the subject of specific provisions, due account being taken of the provisions of this Law that are applicable to them.

In the field of science, protection shall be conferred on the literary or artistic form of the work, but shall not extend to its scientific or technical content, without prejudice however to the rights accorded to incorporeal property by virtue of other provisions.
