- You can claim priority according to Paris Convention within: 12 months from the first filing date.
- Member of: Paris Convention.
- Period of protection of a patent: 20 years.
- Annuities: in order to maintain the patent or patent application, an annual fee shall be paid in advance to the Registrar each year starting one year after the filing date of the application until the grant of the patent. A grace period of six (6) months shall be allowed for the late payment of the annual fee. If an annual fee is not paid in accordance with this regulation, the patent application shall be deemed to have been withdrawn or the patent shall lapse.
- Allowed time to submit the assignment deed from the date of signing the agreement: as soon as possible.
