- You can claim priority according to Paris Convention within: 6 months from the first filing date.

- Period of protection of a design: 10 years.
- Annuities: a design registration has a term of 10 years with a single maintenance fee payable not later than the fifth anniversary of the registration to maintain the registration for the full term. A grace period of six months after the expiry of the five-years period from the registration date is allowed after payment of penalty fees.
- Allowed time to submit the assignment deed from the date of signing the agreement: it should be recorded immediately.
