• You can claim priority according to Paris Convention within: 6 months from the first filing date.
• Member of: Paris Convention, GCC.
• Period of protection of a design: 15 years.
• Annuities: The industrial design is initially protected for five (5) years from the application date. The protection can be renewed for two (2) additional, equivalent periods of five years each.

The annuity fees can be paid within one (1) year before the expiry date.

The late filing of the annuity is possible within six (6) months, after the payment of the prescribed penalty fees, provided the applicant furnishes an acceptable excuse for the delay in payment.
