• You can claim priority according to Paris Convention within: 12 months from the first filing date.
• Member of: PCT, Paris Convention.
• Allowed time to submit the assignment deed from the date of signing the agreement: no time restrictions.

A local patent registration is valid for 20 years. Once the registration has expired it cannot be renewed.

A UK-based patent registration is valid for the same period as specified on the underlying UK registration.
