An invention in any field of technology shall be granted legal protection if it relates to a product or process is new, involves an inventive step and is industrially applicable. “Product” means the subject as a result of human labor, “the way” – a process that is sending or method of execution of interrelated activities over the object(s), and application process, techniques, methods or product for a particular purpose.

A patent application for the invention of the Republic of Belarus is served in the National Intellectual Property Center.

The invention application shall relate to one invention or group of inventions linked so as to form a single inventive concept.
