The Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia is the accredited registry for the Country code top-level domain .KH.
Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia was established on September 20, 2012 by a Royal Decree N° NS/RD/0312/175 dated March 01, 2012 on the Establishment of Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia and a Sub Decree N° 140 SD.E dated September 06, 2012 on the establishment and Functioning of Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia’s Secretariat to regulate telecommunication services through the use of either reviewing the laws and regulations or managing telecommunication market. Previously, these duties were undertaken by Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications assigned by Royal Government of Cambodia in pursuant to the National Constitution.
The missions of Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia are sensitive to the needs of consumers, operators, service providers and suppliers, and are responsive to the policy initiatives of Royal Government to generate growth on ICT, social and economic benefits, making Cambodia a player playing its key role in the world community of ICT.
