- Power of attorney legalised by the Guatemalan Consulate.
- Specification and claims in Spanish language, along with any necessary drawings.
- Deed of assignment document if the applicant is not the inventor, legalised by the Guatemalan Consulate.
- Clear indication if there has been presented applications for the same invention in other countries; if so, information regarding the foreign application as country, filing date, and filing number is required.
- Certified copy of the priority document if claimed.
