Patent Filing Requirements
- Power of attorney simply signed.
- Full name and address of the applicant.
- Full name, address, and nationality of the inventor(s).
- Abstract, specifications, and claims.
- Official drawings on A4 paper (two copies).
- Priority document if claimed.
- Deed of assignment document legalised, if applicant is not the inventor.
Notes
- Late filing of documents: not allowed.
The power of attorney and the official drawings can be filed within 2 months from the filing date, while the priority document and the deed of assignment can be filed within 6 months.
Annuity Requirements
- No documents are required.
Patent Assignment
- Power of attorney simply signed.
- Deed of assignment document signed by the owner, in Italian and English languages.
