• Annuities: the first annuity fee is due on the fourth anniversary of the filing date and then annually thereafter. It is possible to pay all the annuity fees in advance.
• Allowed time to submit the assignment deed from the date of signing the agreement: no time restrictions.

A local patent registration is valid for 14 years and can only be renewed by an order of Cabinet.

A UK-based or Community-based patent registration is valid for the same period that is shown on the UK or Community certificate and can be renewed once the underlying UK or Community registration has been renewed.
