- Power of attorney notarised.
- Full name and address of the applicant(s) and the inventor(s). If the applicant is the inventor, then no assignment document is needed.
- Certified copy of the priority document if claimed with Spanish translation.
- Abstract, specifications, and claims in Spanish language.
- Three sets of the formal drawings.

- Extension of time for late filing of documents: not allowed.
Annuity Requirements
- No documents are required.
Patent Search
- No documents are required.
Patent Assignment
- Power of attorney notarised.
- Deed of assignment document with Spanish translation, legalised by the Paraguayan Consulate.

Patent Merger
- Power of attorney notarised.
- Merger agreement document legalised by the Paraguayan Consulate.

- Power of attorney under the new name and/or address, notarised.
- Certificate of incorporation or extract from the commercial register reflecting the change legalised by the Paraguayan Consulate.

Patent License
- Power of attorney signed by the licensee, notarised.
