Patent Filing Requirements
- Technical description of the invention, and the list of reference of signs where applicable.
- Patent claims, drawings (if available), and abstract.
- First name and surname, residence, and the address (number and street name, postal code, town, and postal district, if any) of the inventor.
- The applicant's details.
- Deed of assignment signed by bother parties if the applicant is not the inventor or not the sole inventor.
- Priority document if claimed.
Notes
Late filing of documents:
- The technical description and the patent claims must be filed together with the application.
- The abstract and the inventor's details can be submitted within 15 months from the filing date.
- Extension of the technical information is not admissible.
- Priority document should be filed within 16 months from the filing date of the earlier application.
- If the application is written in English or French language in full or in part, a German translation must be submitted within 12 months.
