• Validity of the copyright protection period before expiry: for the author's life.
• Validity of the copyright protection period after the death of the author(s): 25 years.

The validity of copyrights protection for all types of copyright is 25 years after the death of author except the:
1- Work of applied art, the protection shall be for a period of twenty five years from the date of making.
2- Broadcast Organisation, the term of protection is twenty years from the date which the work was broadcasted.
