Industrial Design Filing Requirements
- Power of attorney simply signed.
- Drawings, photographs and/or other specimens or graphical representations of the article embodying the industrial design.
- An indication of the kind of products for which the industrial design is to be used.
- Where the applicant is not the creator, a statement justifying the applicant's right to registration of the industrial design must accompany the application.
Notes
For late filing of the documents, where the Registrar is satisfied that the circumstances justifying it, he may, upon receiving a written request, extends the time for doing any act or taking any proceedings under the Industrial Designs Act and Regulations upon notice to the parties concerned and upon such terms as he may direct.
Annuity Requirements
- No documents are required.
Industrial Design Assignment
- Power of attorney simply signed by both parties.
- Deed of assignment document signed by both parties.
