Industrial Designs

To be accepted for registration, an industrial design must be new.

An industrial design shall be considered to be new if it has not been disclosed in any part of the world, by publication in a tangible form or by use or in any other form prior to the date of filing or, as the case may be, the date of priority of the application for registration. Industrial designs and references which are contrary to public order or morality may not be accepted for registration.
