- You can claim priority according to Paris Convention within: 12 months from the first filing date.
- Member of: PCT, Paris Convention.
- Period of protection of a patent: 20 years.
- Annuities: maintenance fees must be paid to keep a patent in force. If the required fee is not paid before the payment deadline, the patent lapses, but it can be revived within 12 months by submitting a written request for reinstatement along with the payment of the maintenance fee and a late payment fee.
- Allowed time to submit the assignment deed from the date of signing the agreement: it should be recorded immediately.
