Filing Requirements
- Power of attorney legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.
- Applicant's legal entity type, e.g. public sharing company, limited liability company, etc.
- Certified copy of the certificate of incorporation or an extract from the commercial register.
- Certified copy of the priority document if claimed.
Notes
- Late filing of documents: allowed within 3 months from filing date without penalty.
- Extension of time for late filing of documents: not allowed.
Registration with Customs Duty
- Power of attorney legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.
- Copy of the registration certificate.
Notes
- Late filing of documents: not allowed.
Protection duration is valid for one year and should be renewed annually.
Renewal Requirements
- Power of attorney legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.

Search Requirements
- No documents are required.
Assignment Requirements
- Power of attorney signed and sealed by the assignee, legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.
- Deed of assignment document signed by both parties, legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.
- Certified copy of the extract from the commercial register or certificate of incorporation legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.

The deed of assignment should contain a list of the subject marks; a legalised separate list can be accepted.
Merger Requirements
- Power of attorney signed and sealed by both parties legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.
- Merger agreement document legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.
- Certified copy of the extract from the commercial register or certificate of incorporation legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.

Recordal of Change

- Certificate of change of name legalised by the Egyptian Consulate.

- Recordal of registered user or license agreement after the registration certificate is issued.
- Nominal amount of US$10 is required.
