- Power of attorney duly legalised by the Honduran Consulate or Apostille.
- Assignment document from the inventor to the applicant duly legalised by the Honduran Consulate or Apostille.
- Application form, description, claims, drawings (if applicable), and summary in Spanish language.
Notes
- Late filing of documents: not allowed.
- Extension of time for late filing of documents: not allowed.
An application in writing must be filed before the Honduran Trademark and Patent Office along with payment of formal examination.
Annuity Requirements
- Power of attorney duly legalised by the Honduran Consulate or Apostille.
- The entire application in Spanish language.
- Publication of the application.
- Declaration of inventorship.

- Extension of time for late filing of documents: can be applied for an additional period of 1 month with penalty.
Patent Assignment
- Power of attorney from the assignee duly legalised by the Honduran Consulate or Apostille.

Patent Merger
- Power of attorney duly legalised by the Honduran Consulate or Apostille on behalf of the surviving entity.
- Merger document duly legalised by the Honduran Consulate or Apostille.

Patent Recordal of Change
- Power of attorney of the new name and address duly legalised by the Honduran Consulate or Apostille.
- Document evidencing the change duly legalised by the Honduran Consulate or Apostille.

Patent License
- Power of attorney from the licensor duly legalised by the Honduran Consulate or Apostille.
