• Allowed time to submit the assignment deed from the date of signing the agreement: no time restrictions.

There are two types of patent:
1- Standard, and
2- Short-term.

Protection under the standard patent is renewable annually after the end of the third year for a maximum period of 20 years.

Protection under the short-term patent is renewable after four years from the filing, for a maximum period of 8 years.
