- Power of attorney simply signed.
- One copy of the representation of the article to which the design is applied (drawings or photographs).
- A statement of novelty in respect of the industrial designs to which the design is applied. (However a statement of novelty is not required when registering wallpaper, lace, or textile articles).
- Certified copy of the priority document if claimed.

Industrial Design Search
- No documents are required.
Industrial Design Assignment
- Power of attorney signed by the assignee, notarised.
- Deed of assignment document signed by the assignor and assignee, notarised.
