Trademarks may be expressed in words, figures, letters, numerals, three-dimensional configurations, colors, sounds, scents, and/or any combinations thereof.

The Intellectual Property Office shall, within 20 days from the date of receipt of the application, examine the application as to form and, if the application meets the requirements provided for in Article 6.1. of this Law, the filing date of the application shall be accorded as of the date of receipt of the application.
