Patent Filing Requirements
  • Power of attorney simply signed.
  • Abstract consisting of a concise summary of the disclosure, preferably not more than one hundred and fifty (150) words in English language.
  • Deed of assignment document legalised by the Philippines Consulate if the applicant is not the inventor.
  • Three copies of the specifications, claims, and drawings in English language.
  • Certified copy of the priority document if claimed.

Annuity Requirements
  • No documents are required.

Patent Search
  • No documents are required.

Patent Assignment
  • Power of attorney simply signed by the assignee.
  • Deed of assignment document notarised, with English translation.

Patent Merger
  • Power of attorney simply signed.
  • Merger agreement document notarised, with English translation.

Patent Recordal of Change
  • Power of attorney showing the new name and/or address, simply signed.
  • Certificate of incorporation or extract from the commercial register reflecting the change notarised, with English translation.

Patent License
  • Power of attorney simply signed by the licensee.
  • License agreement document signed by both parties notarised, with English translation.
