Trademarks

A trademark is a sign that identifies a company’s products or services in the marketplace, and distinguishes them from those of other companies.

If a trademark is registered, exclusive rights are granted which allow the owner to prevent third parties using a similar or identical trademark on the same or related products and services without his/her consent (that is, the registration allows, namely, the reaction against imitations).

Attention! In principle, the protection is limited to the products and services specified on the registration application (or related products and services).
