- Power of attorney legalised.
- Certified copy of the certificate of incorporation or extract from the commercial register.
- Certified copy of the priority document, if claimed.
Notes
- Late filing of documents: allowed within 1 month from filing date without penalty.
- Extension of time for late filing of documents: not allowed.
Photocopies of the required documents must be uploaded online at the time of the filing, and the originals should be submitted within one (1) month from the date of application.
Renewal Requirements
- Power of attorney legalised.
- Copy of the trademark registration/renewal certificate.
- Copy of the publication of the trademark (required for the first renewal).

Search Requirements
- No documents are required.

Search for word marks in languages other than English or Arabic requires transliteration into Arabic characters.
Assignment Requirements
- Power of attorney from the assignee legalised.
- Deed of assignment document legalised.
- Certified copy of the certificate of incorporation or extract from the commercial register from the assignee.
Notes
- Late filing of documents: not allowed.
It is possible to record an assignment for pending and registered trademarks. However, the trademark is published, the client has to wait until registration certificate is issued.
Merger Requirements
- Power of attorney legalised.
- Merger agreement document legalised.
- Certified copy of the certificate of incorporation or extract from the commercial register.
Notes

Recordal of Change
- Power of attorney reflecting the change legalised.
- Certificate of change of address legalised.

License Requirements
- Power of attorney from the licensee legalised.
