Patent Filing Requirements
  • Description of the invention describing at least one way of carrying out the invention, with examples, where appropriate, and with references to the drawings if any.
  • One claim or more. The claims should define the scope of the requested protection and supported by the description.
  • Any drawings referred to in the description or any claims.
  • Abstract of the invention.
  • Certified copy of the priority document if claimed, with English translation.

Annuity Requirements
  • No documents are required.

Patent Search
  • No documents are required.

Patent Assignment
  • Power of attorney signed by the assignee.
  • Deed of assignment document signed by the assignor and the assignee.

Notes
  • Late filing of documents: not allowed.

Patent Merger
  • Power of attorney simply signed.
  • Merger agreement document.

Notes
  • Late filing of documents: not allowed.

Patent Recordal of Change
  • Power of attorney reflecting the new name or address simply signed.
  • Certified copy of the certificate of incorporation or the extract from the commercial register reflecting the change.

Patent License
  • Power of attorney signed by the licensee.
  • License agreement document signed by both parties.
