• You can claim priority according to Paris Convention within: 12 months from the first filing date.
• Member of: PCT, Paris Convention, ARIPO.
• Period of protection of a patent: 20 years.
• Annuities: the annuities are paid annually from the fourth year.
• Allowed time to submit the assignment deed from the date of signing the agreement: no time restrictions.

Patent applications are published in the Patent Journal and subject to the opposition period of 3 months from the publication date.

A grave period of the 6 months with penalty is allowed for the late payment of the annuities.
