The inception of a work, an unfinished work, a title and other elements of a work shall be protected as independent works, provided that they represent individual intellectual creations.

Translations, adaptations, musical arrangements, musical remakes and other alterations of the original works, which are individual intellectual creations, shall be protected as independent works.

The protection of the works referred to in paragraph (1) of this Article shall not affect the rights of the author of the original work.
