Industrial Design Filing Requirements
- Drawings or photographs of the design.
- Applicant details (full name, type, address, and country).
- Designer details (full name, address, and country).
- Priority information, if applicable (filing date, filing number, and country).
- Statement of novel features, if possible.
- Description of drawings and relation to the design, if possible.
- Description of markings in drawings (e.g. broken lines), if possible.
Annuity Requirements
- No documents are required.
Industrial Design Assignment
- Copy of the deed of assignment document reflecting the exact name(s) of the current owner(s), the name(s) of the new owner(s), the date of execution, the application/patent number(s) that the assignment relates to, and signatures of all parties.
Industrial Design Merger
- Copy of the merger agreement document reflecting the exact name(s) of the current owner(s), the name(s) of the new owner(s), the date of execution, the application/patent number(s) that the merger relates to, and signatures of all parties.
Industrial Design Recordal of Change
- A declaration or other evidence should be forwarded supporting the reasons why the name should be changed.
- No documents are required for the change of address.
Industrial Design License
- Copy of the license agreement document, reflecting the exact name(s) of the current owner(s), the name(s) of the new owner(s), the date of execution, the application/patent number(s) that the license relates to, and signatures of all parties.
