- Period of protection of a design: 10 years
- Annuities: Industrial designs are renewable for a further five years, to a maximum of 10 years. There is a grace period of 6 months with a monthly penalty fee.
- Allowed time to submit the assignment deed from the date of signing the agreement: no time restrictions.
