- Period of protection of a design: 5 years
- Annuities: an industrial design shall be acquired by its entry in the register of industrial designs and shall be valid for 5 years from the date of filing of the application, with a possibility of extension of time for the same period four times. There is a grace period of 6 months for late payment of renewal fees with penalty.
- Allowed time to submit the assignment deed from the date of signing the agreement: no time restrictions.
