Patent Filing Requirements
- Power of attorney simply signed.
- Specification, claims, and abstract in French language or English language.
- Formal drawings, if applicable.
- Where the applicant is the inventor, a statement providing proof of the applicant's right to apply for the patent must accompany the application.
- Priority document with verified French translation.
Notes
The power of attorney can be filed within 2 months from the filing date, where the deed of assignment can be filed within 3 months. And the rest of the required documents should be filed with application.
