• Validity of the copyright protection period before expiry: for the author's life.
• Validity of the copyright protection period after the death of the author(s): 50 years.

Copyright shall have effect throughout the lifetime of the author and for 50 years after his death; this term shall be calculated as from January 1 of the year following that of death.
