Domain Name Registration
- Power of attorney legalised by the Lebanese Consulate.
- A completed and signed domain name registration request.
- Current document proving that the official representative of the DOMAIN-BENEFICIARY signing the domain name registration request delegation is the current Mayor, Director General, or Minister in charge of the government entity or municipality registering the domain.
- A completed and signed domain delegation request.
- Trademark registration certificate under class 35 in Lebanon matching the requested domain name.
Notes
- Late filing of documents: not allowed.
The Lebanese Domain Registry will review the provided documents and if the application is accepted (domain name not already assigned) the registry will reserve the domain name on a temporary basis and notify the Office of Intellectual Property Protection (IPP) at the Ministry of Economy and Trade that the domain name is available for registration (the attestation will be emailed to the IPP copying the requester).
