Industrial Designs

The following are the requirements for protection of an industrial design:

a) It shall not have been disclosed by means of publication in a tangible form, nor used in any other way, prior to the date of filing or to the date of priority of the application for registration;

b) It shall not be contrary to the law or offensive to public order and morality or contra bonos mores.

Rights conferred by industrial designs shall belong to the creator thereof, or to the creator’s successors in title.

Where various persons are creators of the same industrial design, then they shall own the right in common.
