Translation of Documents Requirements:
Any document in a language other than Arabic, even if a translation was provided and stamped by a Libyan Consulate abroad, must be prepared, revised and certified by a local translator and then authenticated by the Judicial Authorities Center (JAC).
The JAC fees for certifying the translation per document, regardless of the number of pages, is $65.
Local Legalization Fees:
Any document that has been legalized by the Libyan Consulate abroad, as it must be endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is now subject to new official fees ranging from LD20- LD120 (around US$18- $100), which depends on the country of origin.
