Jordan, UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine, are expected to launch the registration of Arabic domain names at the beginning of the year 2011.
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has taken the necessary procedures which allow these countries to use non Latin characters for domain names registrations.
The table below illustrates the Top-level domain names for these countries and the documents required for registration:

Palestine

- Certified copy of trademark home registration.
Saudi Arabia

- Power of attorney simply signed;
- A letter addressed to the Saudi Network Information Center, completed on the applicant’s letterhead, simply signed with company seal, and
- Copy of the corresponding certificate of registration or extract from the commercial register.
U.A.E.
.emarat
- Letter of authorisation or power of attorney, and
- Certified copy of trademark registration.
