RIYADH – Saudi authorities have announced the seizure of more than 3.6 million counterfeit goods in a coordinated campaign targeting violations of the Kingdom’s Trademark Law. The operations, led by the Ministry of Commerce in cooperation with enforcement units, resulted in the closure of 1,245 facilities and the identification of 1,379 individuals to legal authorities for further action.
The seized items included a wide range of consumer goods such as clothing, electronics, accessories, and luxury-branded products that infringed registered trademarks.
This enforcement drive reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to raising IP compliance standards, in line with Vision 2030 and the country’s broader economic transformation goals.
