The Registrar of Trademarks in Libya announced lately that any trademark filed should be accompanied with a certified copy of the applicant home registration and duly legalized up to the Libyan Consulate abroad. We have written to the Libyan authorities complaining about the new requirement asking to abandon this document. After several attempts we succeeded in convincing the authorities to accept filing the applications with certified copies of home registration only without legalization up to the Libyan Consulate which takes longer time. This procedure will save time, effort and paying extra money and well expedite the process of filing there.
Further developments will be updated. For more info, kindly contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
