BAGHDAD – The Iraqi Economic Council has issued Decision No. (26038) of 2026, approving a new schedule of official fees for trademark services. The decision has been published in the Official Gazette No. 4863 dated 30 March 2026.
The new fee structure is considered effective from the date of publication. However, the Trademark Office has not yet confirmed the date on which the revised fees will be implemented in practice.
It is also noted that the published fee schedule does not address any changes to the maximum cap on payable official fees (under current practice, a ceiling applies to the total official fees payable by the applicant). Further clarification from the Trademark Office is therefore awaited.
