DOHA – Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), through the Intellectual Property Rights Protection Department, has introduced four new digital services within the Industrial Designs Section. This update is designed to digitalise workflows and speed up procedures for intellectual property agents.
IP Agents can now submit the following requests directly through the online portal:
- Registration;
- Preliminary examination;
- Appeals, and
- Oppositions.
All applications submitted before this digital launch will continue to be processed manually through the traditional paper system until final completion.
